Pending Adoption: Marsha

Marsha came to us in September. A friend saved her from a kill pen. We had hopes of making Marsha into a little jumper pony, but she, unfortunately, is going to need a lot more training than we have time for. Marsha requires an experienced home that can start from scratch with her. She is not very trusting at first, and it’s taken us several months to gain her trust just enough for daily activities. She is halter broke, but we leave a halter on her to make her easier to catch. She loves other mares but does well in a mixed herd as well. She’s great friends with Disco. She does trust children more than adults, but she is nowhere near a kid’s horse at this time. We do not know if she’s ever been saddled or ridden. She’s a very easy keeper.

Marsha is most likely a Welsh Cob mix, approximately 13 hands and 5-6 years old.
